Description+

Two buckle straps cross the vamp, so the shoe closes without laces. The upper is burgundy full-grain leather. The toe is a stitched cap. The sole is leather, stitched on with a Goodyear welt so it can be replaced in the workshop. Creases settle into the full-grain leather after the first weeks. That is the hide moving, not the shoe giving way.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing and keep cedar shoe trees inside to hold the shape. Rotate between pairs so the leather can rest and dry out. Condition every few months and polish when the shine fades. If they get wet, let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from heaters and direct sun.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. Every piece is made to order. If you send a piece back because you changed your mind, you pay return shipping and we do not treat that as a refundable return. Faults (not as described, manufacturing defect, or otherwise failing the consumer guarantees) can be reported within 30 days of delivery — we cover return shipping on confirmed faults. Yes — every Goodyear-welted pair we make can be resoled in our workshop for the life of the shoe. Please contact us for further information.
