Returns & Refunds Policy

Last updated 9 September 2026

This is the returns policy for Omnify Leathers. It applies to every made-to-order piece. We do not accept change-of-mind returns. If a change-of-mind parcel is sent, you pay return shipping. Manufacturing faults and other failures of the consumer guarantees may be reported within 30 days of delivery.

1. Change of mind

We do not accept returns because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size or colour, or no longer want the piece. Each piece is cut and built to order. Please use the Size Guide before you order. If you send a piece back for change of mind without a fault authorization, you pay all return shipping. We may decline a refund and return the piece to you at your cost.

2. Faults

You have 30 days from the delivery date to tell us about a fault — a manufacturing defect, a piece that is not as described, or that otherwise fails to meet the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees. Report it by emailing atelier@omnify.au with your order number and photos. We will repair, replace, or refund as the law requires. We cover return shipping on confirmed faults. This 30-day window is how we handle fault reports; consumer guarantees may apply for longer.

3. Who pays return shipping

  • Change of mind: you pay return shipping. We do not accept change-of-mind as a refundable return.
  • Confirmed fault: we cover return shipping within Australia.
  • Outbound shipping to you remains free in Australia.

4. Condition

Returned pieces must be unworn and in original condition, with packaging and any dust bag, unless the claim is a fault (in which case photos of the defect are enough to start the claim). Trying shoes on a carpeted surface helps preserve the soles.

5. How to start a claim

Email atelier@omnify.au with your order number, what is wrong, and photos. We reply within one business day with a return authorization and instructions. Do not post a piece back until we have confirmed the address.

6. Refund timing

Once a returned piece is received and inspected, a refund for an accepted fault claim is issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Change-of-mind parcels are not refunded.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a guarantee is not met, you are entitled to a remedy as the law requires.
